This event will include the screening of the film "Dead Name" followed by a panel discussion featuring:
Taylor Reece: The director/co-producer of "Dead Name," a film that gives voice to the impacts the transgender movement is having on children and family..
Bill Mahoney: One of the featured parents in the film and father of Sean, who as a child had cancer twice, lost his left leg to cancer, and lost his mom when he was in 8th grade. In Sean’s sophomore year at college, he decided that he was transgender and wanted to transition immediately.
Brandon Showalter: Journalist and podcaster with The Christian Post who has reported extensively on topics of theological interest in the Church; bioethics issues such as euthanasia, assisted suicide, artificial reproductive technology, and surrogacy; and the developments of the "gender identity" movement and transgender ideology.
Dr Sheila Furey: Adolescent and adult psychiatrist from Richmond, Virginia. Dr. Furey has over 25 years of experience in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with developmental challenges and those who have been victims of abuse and neglect.
